Abstract
⺠We confirmed the division of leucine-rich repeat containing GPCRs into types A-C. ⺠We identified a subdivision of type C LGRs into type C1 and newly identified C2. ⺠Type C1 is characterized by a single LDLa module, C2 has multiple. ⺠A possible ancestral form of LGRs was revealed in Placozoa.
