Abstract
⺠Intracerebroventricular administration of neuronostatin delayed gastric emptying and gastrointestinal transit in mice. ⺠The gastrointestinal effect elicited by neuronostatin was significantly reversed by melanocortin 3/4 receptor antagonist SHU9119 or classical opioid receptor antagonist naloxone. ⺠Intracerebroventricular administration of non-amidated neuronostatin had no influence on gastric emptying and gastrointestinal transit.
