Abstract
⺠We studied hypothalamic neuropeptide expression in developmentally overfed mice. ⺠Breast and/or adolescence overfed adult mice had reduced NPY mRNA levels. ⺠Adult high fat diet further reduced neuropeptide levels in developmentally overfed mice. ⺠Several peptidergic circuits are altered in developmentally overfed adult mice.
