Abstract
⺠We tested toxicity of more than 60 peptides toward mammalian cells. ⺠Two normal cell lines (HUVEC and rat intestinal epithelial cells) were used. ⺠Three cancer cell lines (HeLa S3, CRC SW480 and CCRF-CEM T) were used. ⺠Most peptides are semi-selective for cancer cells, HeLa S3 cells are the most sensitive. ⺠The peptides are membranolytic.
