Abstract
⺠Processing and degradation of ghrelin and responsible enzymes in blood. ⺠Deacylation and truncation of ghrelin and responsible enzymes in blood are introduced. ⺠Acyl protein thioesterase 1 is an important ghrelin deacylation enzyme in serum. ⺠Significance of ghrelin-processing peptidases in plasma is proposed from MS analysis.
