Abstract
⺠Ghrelin is a gut hormone and neuropeptide which acts in CNS on the hypothalamus. ⺠Best-known biological function of ghrelin is the regulation of appetite. ⺠The activity of ghrelin is also connected with circardian and annual fluctuation. ⺠Ghrelin plays an important role in adaptation of animals to energetic requirements.
