Abstract
⺠This study confirms the antidepressant-like effect of duloxetine in the FST. ⺠The mechanisms underlying antidepressant action of duloxetine was investigated. ⺠NMDA receptors and NO/cGMP synthesis inhibition is implicated in duloxetine effect. ⺠NMDA receptors and L-arginine-NO-cGMP pathway are targets for antidepressant action.
