Abstract
⺠mGluR5 agonist CHPG attenuated toluene-induced behavioral changes and hypothermia. ⺠Blockade of mGluR5 potentiated behavioral changes and hypothermia by toluene. ⺠Inhibition of PKC reversed the attenuating effect of CHPG on toluene's responses. ⺠mGluR5 may modulate certain responses of toluene in a PKC-dependent manner.
