Abstract
⺠D2-like agonists induce yawning in taiep rats a myelin mutant, and in stroke patients. ⺠Yawning is innate motor pattern induced by dopaminergic agonists. ⺠Taiep rats is a myelin mutant which are capable to yawn after injection of dopaminergic agonists. ⺠Yawning is related to anxiety and stress situations. ⺠Some yawns are associated with stretching and it also happen in patients with paralyzed forelimb.
