Abstract
► D2-like agonists induce yawning in taiep rats a myelin mutant, and in stroke patients. ► Yawning is innate motor pattern induced by dopaminergic agonists. ► Taiep rats is a myelin mutant which are capable to yawn after injection of dopaminergic agonists. ► Yawning is related to anxiety and stress situations. ► Some yawns are associated with stretching and it also happen in patients with paralyzed forelimb.
