Abstract
⺠Diclofenac, metamizol and indomethacin induced antinociception in STZ-diabetic rat. ⺠Lumiracoxib and meloxicam produced antinociception in the STZ-diabetic rats. ⺠Sulfonylureas block the diclofenac-induced antinociception in STZ-diabetic rats. ⺠Sulfonylureas do not block the antinociception of other NSAIDs in STZ-diabetic rat. ⺠The results with STZ-diabetic rats were reproduced in non-diabetic rats.
