Abstract
⺠At baseline, the paradigm yielded EtOH intake in the pharmacologically relevant range (~ 90 mg%). ⺠CeA NPY did not affect ethanol-reinforced behavior, despite its role in ethanol-dependent rats. ⺠Binge-like ethanol consumption is not sufficient to recruit CeA NPY regulation of seeking/intake.
