Abstract

âº The investigated compound (LPP1) is a Î³-butyrolactone derivative. âº Its analgesic, anticonvulsant and antioxidant activities as well as its toxicity were tested. âº The receptor profiling and its plasma level were also investigated. âº This compound is analgesic, anticonvulsant and rapidly converts to unknown metabolite(s). âº These metabolites are likely to be responsible for its pharmacological activity.
