Abstract
⺠L5 spinal nerve ligation increased CGRP-IR in laminae I-II of the spinal cord. ⺠SNL increased NPY-IR in the spinal cord. ⺠SNL induced expression of NPY-IR in dorsal root ganglion neurons only at L5. ⺠Subcutaneous ketanserin reversed evoked upregulation of CGRP and NPY. ⺠Maladaptive changes in CGRP and NPY mediated bioactivity of 5-HT/5-HT2A receptors in neuropathic pain.
