Abstract
⺠Assessed the effects of adolescent exposure to methylphenidate on later cocaine. ⺠Adolescent methylphenidate had no effect on aversive properties of later cocaine. ⺠Methylphenidate attenuated growth rates at the higher of two doses tested. ⺠Enhanced locomotor activation from cocaine following low dose methylphenidate. ⺠Reported changes in cocaine following methylphenidate likely mediated by reward.
