Abstract
⺠Akebia saponin D is a typical saponin component from Dipsacus asper Wall. ⺠ASD improved memory impairment in the IBO-induced dementia model. ⺠ASD protected cholinergic system by regulating Ach, AChE and ChAT. ⺠ASD inhibited neuron apoptosis partly via MAPK signaling pathway.
