Abstract
⺠Synthetic 17β-aminoestrogens are estradiol analogs and share its estrogenic effects. ⺠Contrary to estradiol the 17β-aminoestrogens produce anticoagulant effects. ⺠Prolame, but not other 17β-aminoestrogens produces antidepressant-like effects. ⺠Antidepressant-like effect of prolame and estradiol is mediated by estrogen receptors.
