Abstract
⺠Antipsychotics administered via osmotic minipump model chronic treatment in humans. ⺠We examined olanzapine administered over 1 month via osmotic minipump in rats. ⺠Results indicated a monophasic exponential decay and half-life of 14.8 days. ⺠Oxidation of olanzapine appears to be involved. ⺠The administration interval for olanzapine should be confined to 2 weeks.
