Abstract
⺠Diacerein inhibits the nociception induced by acetic acid in mice. ⺠Diacerein exerts a systemic, spinal, supra-spinal and locally antinociceptive action. ⺠Inhibition of glutamate receptor contributes to the analgesic properties of diacerein. ⺠Antinociceptive diacerein effect depends on pro-inflammatory cytokine inhibition.
