Abstract
⺠Delay discounting is a key component of addiction and many behavioral disorders. ⺠Rodent modeling of this task is necessary for mechanistic understanding. ⺠We have developed a task more rapid than most rodent versions of delay discounting. ⺠This version of the DD task is sensitive to reward magnitude and chronic cocaine. ⺠Rats adjust to increasing delays within-session and establish stable performance.
