Abstract
⺠TAAR1 KO mice show enhanced methamphetamine-induced locomotor activity response. ⺠TAAR1 KO mice achieve methamphetamine-induced CPP earlier than WT mice. ⺠There was no difference between KO and WT mice in morphine-induced CPP. ⺠TAAR1 may have a selective role in reward-related behaviors of psychostimulants. ⺠Novel receptor family with putative role in rewarding effects of drugs of abuse.
