Abstract
► The velocity of movement was increased significantly on TCP treatment, rimonabant had no effect. ► Rearing was significantly reduced by TCP treatment, rimonabant had no effect. ► BDNF levels were significantly increased in the frontal cortex after TCP, but not by rimonabant. ► Rimonabant does not show antidepressant drug-like effects after chronic treatment.
