Abstract
⺠Occipital cortex (OC) stimulation reduces incision pain for less than 10 min. ⺠Retrosplenial cortex (RSC) stimulation reduces incision pain for at least 15 min. ⺠Lidocaine into APtN reduced the effects of OC or RSC stimulation. ⺠Methysergide (Met) or naloxone (Nlx) into APtN reduced the effect of RSC stimulation. ⺠Met, Nlx or atropine into APtN did not change the effect of OC stimulation.
