Abstract
⺠Male hamsters received systemic treatments of cholinergic drugs. ⺠These included oxotremorine, an ACh agonist, and scopolamine, an ACh antagonist. ⺠I describe the effects of these drugs on male copulatory behavior. ⺠Each drug disrupted copulation, affecting at least 5 individual elements or measures. ⺠These effects suggest the pervasive cholinergic control of male behavior in hamsters.
