Abstract
► Male hamsters received systemic treatments of cholinergic drugs. ► These included oxotremorine, an ACh agonist, and scopolamine, an ACh antagonist. ► I describe the effects of these drugs on male copulatory behavior. ► Each drug disrupted copulation, affecting at least 5 individual elements or measures. ► These effects suggest the pervasive cholinergic control of male behavior in hamsters.
