Abstract
⺠Oxotremorine was delivered to the preoptic area in male hamsters. ⺠These enhanced male behavior, decreasing mount number and postejaculatory interval. ⺠In addition, they facilitated the female-typical lordosis response. ⺠Treatments dorsal to the preoptic area produced similar effects. ⺠But these also were found to disrupt elements of male behavior.
