Abstract
⺠Combinations of analgesics are commonly used in the management of chronic pain. ⺠Synergistic effects of nociceptin/orphanin FQ and cannabinoid systems are examined. ⺠Both JTC-801 and WIN 55,212-2 produced dose-dependent anti-allodynic effects. ⺠Co-administration of these drugs resulted in a synergistic interaction. ⺠This combination may have utility in neuropathic pain pharmacotherapy.
