Abstract
⺠Acute administration of methylphenidate decreased impulsive choice in the SHR. ⺠No evidence of tolerance or sensitization after chronic administration. ⺠No significant withdrawal effects were evident. ⺠Dopamine transporter dynamics may underlie some of the behavioral changes observed.
