Abstract
⺠MOR-KO mice showed no aversion to social contact after chronic social defeat stress. ⺠MOR-KO inhibits chronic social defeat-induced decrease in hippocampal BDNF mRNA expression. ⺠The μ-opioid receptor may mediate psychosocial stress response through BDNF mRNA expression.
