Abstract
⺠Galantamine is a common dementia treatment, but also induces parkinsonian tremor. ⺠Galantamine induced tremulous jaw movements in rats. ⺠These tremulous jaw movements occurred largely in the 3-7 Hz frequency range. ⺠These oral tremors were blocked by adenosine A2A antagonism. ⺠Adenosine A2A antagonists may be useful for treating galantamine-induced tremor.
