Abstract
⺠High Responder rats (HR) are more reactive to cocaine than Low Responder rats (LR). ⺠The behavioral response to cocaine (COC) is sensitive to reserpine (RES). ⺠COC-treated HR are less sensitive to RES than COC-treated LR. ⺠This is because HR contain more monoamines (MA) inside storage vesicles than LR. ⺠HR may be more reactive to COC than LR because COC can release more MA in HR than LR.
