Abstract
⺠Ovariectomized Fischer inbred rats failed to show anorexia in response to 5 mg/kg fluoxetine. ⺠This dose of fluoxetine prevented the hyperphagia due to 0.25 mg/kg 8-OH-DPAT. ⺠Ovariectomized rats with estradiol benzoate and progesterone priming did not differ from ovariectomized rats without hormonal priming.
