Abstract
⺠5-HT1A or 5-HT2A/2C receptor activation reduces efficiency of fur cleaning in mice. ⺠Inhibition of MAO-A decreases efficiency of hygienic grooming in mice. ⺠Serotonin reuptake was not shown to play a key role in the body care grooming. ⺠5-HT1A receptor activation enhances LPS-induced reduction of hygienic grooming.
