Abstract
⺠Dopamine D1- and D2-like receptors are implicated in reinstatement of drug-seeking. ⺠D1- and D2-like receptor mechanisms in methamphetamine reinstatement were investigated. ⺠Dopamine agonists reinstated methamphetamine-seeking. ⺠A D1 antagonist, but not a D2 antagonist, attenuated methamphetamine-seeking. ⺠Different from other drugs, indicating methamphetamine reinstatement is qualitatively dissimilar.
