Abstract
⺠We have selected two cellulolytic enzymes for expression and secretion in E. coli. ⺠The selected enzymes, endoglucanase and β-glucosidase, were fused with OsmY. ⺠Both enzymes got efficiently secreted into the culture media. ⺠The two enzymes were co-expressed either via synthetic operon or through gene fusion. ⺠Enzymes expressed via synthetic operon had higher extracellular activities.
