Abstract
⺠A scalable manufacturing process for a novel recombinant protease has been achieved. ⺠Oxidative refolding of the expressed zymogen was achieved at 48% yield. ⺠Activation of zymogen by streptokinase was achieved with 80% step yield. ⺠Product was highly pure by all relevant criteria. ⺠Formulated product was highly stable and had a specific activity close to unity.
