Abstract
⺠We obtain soluble recombinant Ap-DAHPS via coexpression with chaperones in Escherichia coli. ⺠DAHPS from Actinosynnema pretiosum has been characterized. âºAp-DAHPS activity is inhibited by high concentration of phosphoenolpyruvate. ⺠Mn2+ and Co2+ significantly increase the activity of Ap-DAHPS.
