Abstract
⺠Deletion variants of human proline oxidase were designed and expressed in Escherichia coli. ⺠These variants encompass the entire catalytic domain. ⺠PO-barrelN-His variant was purified in good amount as soluble and active holoenzyme. ⺠PO-barrelN-His shows typical flavoprotein oxidase spectral features and reactivity.
