Abstract
⺠Seventeen integral membrane human tetraspanins were screened for expression in Escherichia coli. ⺠Detergents for solubilization were screened using GFP-FSEC. ⺠Three human tetraspanins were possible to purify in biochemical amounts. ⺠The samples were characterized by gel filtration and SDS gel electrophoresis.
