Abstract
⺠Isolated cyanobacterium was cultured under different quality of light modes. ⺠The isolate was identified as Pseudanabaena sp., on the basis of 16S rRNA sequence. ⺠Maximum phycoerythrin production was obtained in green light (39.2 mg/L). ⺠Pseudanabaena sp. can be used commercially for C-PE when grown under green light.
