Abstract
⺠Salmon neuroglobin (sNgb) was cloned and heterologously expressed in Escherichia coli. ⺠High quality sNgb was obtained when expressed at 15 °C with aminolevulinic acid. ⺠sNgb reacted strongly with a sNgb specific antibody. ⺠Homology modeling showed that sNgb possesses typical psychrophilic features.
