Abstract
⺠Antioxidant properties of ghrelin have been recently demonstrated. ⺠Ghrelin could attenuate adverse effects of heating in the rat testis. ⺠This hormone accelerated regeneration process following heat exposure in testis. ⺠Ghrelin may act as a suppressor of degenerative effects upon testicular hyperthermia.
