Abstract
- Three acetylated bile acids were isolated from the sponge Siphonochalina fortis.
- This is the first report of acetylated bile acids in sponges.
- One of the compounds (3) is reported for the first time as a natural product.
- The bile acid derivatives did not induce DNA damages by comet assay.
