Abstract
Following these observations, a clarification of the regulatory environment applicable to these implantable medical devices is needed in order to solve these inconsistencies. As for now, CMEG are funded by the department global budget. The funding of these kinds of devices is then central in the problematic of innovation outside the range of the pharmaceutical industry.
