Abstract
This study made possible to identify critical control points and to implement corrective actions. From a legal point of view, computerization of drug prescribing and dispensing led to quantitative and qualitative improvements in the quality, safety and traceability of the drug supply chain. Lastly, computerization would be also a potential tool for cost saving.
