Abstract
Once the new governance established in St-Dié Hospital, several departments have been created, including a medical-technical one, which notably includes medical imaging, biology, restoration of motor function, stretcher transfer, sterilization and pharmacy. Material and methods: Before its setting-up, the executive wished to measure doctors', nursing managers' and nurses' level of satisfaction. Most of them received two questionnaires on welcome and service's quality. It also included two open-ended questions on strength and weakness of each department. Results: This article summarizes results for pharmacy department, elsewhere very encouraging. Our strong points are welcoming quality, availability and reactivity. However, improvement needs to be done on friendliness of prescription software, recently introduced in the hospital. Also, medical units wish to place computer orders and to have computerized lists of equivalent drugs at their disposal. Discussion/conclusion: Finally, these improvements will concern nominal drug dispensing extension to every medical unit and better computer taking over.
