Abstract
At the end of 2010, 88% of IMD ISL (including osteo-fixation implants) were tracked; the untracked references correspond to non-sterile osteosynthesis materials. In 2009, a financial gain of € 106002 was observed. Quality assurance documents, inventories and a pharmacy telephone hotline were put in place to ensure smooth operation of the project. Weaknesses and strengths were highlighted. Our university hospital aims to trace all DMI to June 30, 2011.
