Abstract
⺠A miniaturized MPN (mMPN) was developed for Campylobacter enumeration. ⺠Naturally and artificially contaminated poultry-associated matrices were used. ⺠The evaluation was performed by comparison with the ISO reference direct plating method. ⺠There was good agreement between the mMPN and direct enumeration. ⺠The mMPN is an efficient and inexpensive alternative to standard plating techniques.
