Abstract
► Bacteriophage (ϕPto-bp6g) exhibited a bactericidal activity against Pseudomonas. ► Lysis of bacterial cells was prominent after 4-5 h of inoculation into Pseudomonas. ► ϕPto-bp6g contains an icosahedral head with a long tail, as the family of Siphoviridae. ► Seventy-seven open reading frames of ϕPto-bp6g were identified and annotated.
