Abstract
⺠A reliable 96-well gel-based antifungal assay was successfully developed. ⺠Digitisation gave highly repeatable inhibition parameters for filamentous fungi. ⺠Our gel-based assay allows for various staining methods and preservation. ⺠The preserved assay results can be visually and microscopically evaluated. ⺠Fungicide concentrations leading to morphologic changes could be determined.
