Abstract
⺠We developed a novel in situ method for H2S detection during microbial fermentation. ⺠Method was verified using Saccharomyces cerevisiae. ⺠Method allows high throughput detection of H2S, suitable for screening purposes. ⺠Method allows the comparison of different strains for H2S formation capabilities. ⺠Method allows the comparison of different sulfur sources for H2S formation induction.
