Abstract
⺠The selected compounds from edible fruits were tested for their QSI activity. ⺠The urinary pathogen Serratia marcescens was used as a test organism. ⺠The test QSI compounds reduce the virulence of S. marcescens. ⺠Serum resistance assay, a new method is used to study the QSI compounds efficiency. ⺠This study has provided a fresh insight into the potential of edible fruits as QSI.
